Developing an Undergraduate Engineering Education Pipeline in the Virginia Piedmont: Progress and Next Steps

Dr. James Groves (University of Virginia) will provide an update on the development of an undergraduate engineering education pipeline in southern Virginia. His update will summarize the academic infrastructure now in place. It will illustrate the advance technology used to deliver education. Finally, the talk will identify key challenges that must still be overcome before a robust undergraduate engineering workforce pipeline is fully functional in southern Virginia.
