The SPTC thrives when our members get involved! SPTC members are the ones who know and represent the Southern Piedmont community best, so it’s important for your voices to be present behind the scenes.
Each committee meets only once a quarter, that’s only four meetings a calendar year!
Marketing and Communications Committee
- Responsible for public relations and communications including website content, social media, and newsletter. It’s as simple as sharing news from across the region that you think needs to be a news post on our website!
- Design communication strategy to inform the community about the council.
- Develop marketing materials.
- Review changes for the website, newsletter, brochure, etc.
- Develop template talking points for committee publications and events.
- Identify program introduction and closing.
Meetings of the committee are 100% virtual.
Membership and Dues Committee:
- Develop a membership benefits package and increase SPTC membership.
- Develop a technology membership base.
- Target membership to retain, recruit members and generate a target membership list.
- Organize membership drives.
Meetings of the committee are 100% virtual.
Members of the Membership Committee will have the opportunity to assist with Membership Breakfasts and the Annual Membership Meeting! This is an opportunity to network and meet top leaders in the industry sector while representing the SPTC as a regional asset!
Programming and Events Committee
- Determine the topics and plan logistics of events.
- Provide networking opportunities for members and the community.
- Complement Marketing and Public Relations activities.
- Identify topics and coordinate event logistics.
- Provide program introductions and moderate programs and events.
